2. Collecting and storing personal data, types of data processing, data use

a) During your visit at our website
As you visit our website htpps://, the browser on your online device automatically transmits information to our website server. This information is stored temporarily in a log file. The following information is captured automatically (i.e. without any additional action on your part) and is stored in the log file until it gets automatically deleted:

  • your device’s IP address;
  • the time and date of your access to our website;
  • the name and URL of the page you access;
  • the referrer URL, i.e. the URL of the website from which you access our website;
  • the browser you use as well as your device’s operation system and the name of your online access provider.

The data listed above will be deleted automatically after no more than two years. Upon request, we will delete the data within ten days.

b) When you use our contact form
Our website provides a contact form to facilitate your inquiries to us. The contact form requires you to leave a valid email address to allow us to identify and reply to the sender of the inquiry. Further information can be provided on a voluntary basis.

We process these data that you provide in the contact form in compliance with Article 6, Section 1.1 GDPR based on your voluntary agreement.

The personal data we captured in our contact form will be deleted once your inquiry has been resolved.

c) Contacting us by e-mail, telephone and fax
You may also contact us via the email address and/or the phone and fax numbers provided on our website. If you contact us by email you will need to provide a valid email address to allow us to identify and reply to the sender of the inquiry. If you call us or send us a fax, our phone system will capture the number from which you are calling. Further information can be provided on a voluntary basis.

We process these data that you provide in the contact form in compliance with Article 6, Section 1.1 GDPR based on your voluntary agreement.

All personal data captured by us as you contact us via email, call, or fax will be automatically deleted once your inquiry or any other process initiated in relation to your contacting us has been completed.

3. Information disclosure

We will not disclose your personal data to third parties for any other than the purposes listed in the following.

We will only disclose your personal data to third parties under the following circumstances:

  • if you have given your consent according to Art. 6 Sect. 1.1 GDPR;

4. Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small files automatically generated by your browser and stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) as you visit our website. Cookies do not harm your device. They do not contain viruses, Trojans, or any other kind of malware.

The cookies serve to store information based on the device you use to access our website. They do not allow us to identify you.

6. Social media links

We specifically do not use social media plugins on our website. We do, however, link to our own profiles on Facebook, YouTube, and Xing. On these platforms, we provide additional information about our business according to Art. 6 Section 1.1 GDPR in order to increase our company’s visibility. Our social media profiles' promotional purposes represent a legitimate interest according to GDPR. The respective platform operators are responsible for the GDPR-compliant operation of their websites.

The respective social media will not receive any personal data when you click on the profile links provided on our website.
However, if you are logged in at Facebook, YouTube, and/or Xing as you click the link, these platforms will be able to connect your visit to our profile with your user account. They may use this information for promotional, marketing or demand-oriented development purposes. To do so, the social media networks create usage, interest, and relationship profiles, e.g. to measure and evaluate your visits to our profiles for ad personalization purposes, to inform other users of your activities on our profile (depending on your account settings), and to provide further services connected with your usage.

7. User rights

Your user rights are as follows:

Specifically, you have the right to be informed about the purposes of processing your data, the categories of personal data we collect and process, the categories of recipients to whom we may disclose your data, the planned duration of data storage, the existence of your right to rectification, erasure, and restricted processing, the right to object, and the right to appeal. Furthermore, you have the right to be informed about the source of your personal data as far as they haven’t been collected by us and about the existence of automated decision processed including profiling, including the right to receive detailed information on such processes, if applicable.

  • In compliance with Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to rectification of incorrect or completion of incomplete personal data stored by us.

  • In compliance with Art. 55 GDPR, you have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a general rule, you may contact the relevant supervisory authorities at your place of residence, your business location, or our business location.

8. Right to object

Insofar as the processing of personal data is based on legitimate interests according to Art. 6 Sect. 1.1 GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing for reasons of your particular situation or if your objection is against direct advertising. In this latter case you have a general right to object, which we will comply with even if you do not state a special situation.

As you surf our website, we use the commonly used SSL encryption method (secure socket layer) in combination with the highest encryption level your browser supports. Typically, this means 256 bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256 bit encryption, we use 128 bit v3 technology as a fallback option. You can see from the green or closed lock or key symbol in your browser's status bar that data transmissions to and from the page you are currently visiting are protected by encryption.
